Zagorje wine association

The people of Zagorje like to work, or delat as they would say, but it’s hard when you have to delat and do everything on your own. Which is why, in 1999, the association “Vino Zagorja” (Zagorje Wine Association) was founded, with its primary goal to help Zagorje winegrowers with the distribution and promotion of their wines. And the work involved can easily become too much, or preveč to handle, because there’s more to wine growing than the harvest season, decanting, and jollily toasting under the vine canopy. Since its founding, the association has been working hard to popularize Zagorje wines as quality and natural wines and to present Hrvatsko Zagorje as a recognizable tourist region.
